Suddenly Alert by EdwardElric1308
Description
EdwardElric1308
Yes, I love to photograph my dogs. They are really good subjects, IF they keep still, of course.

This is my dog, Xandir the brindle miniature dachshund. He is suddenly alert for some reason. Maybe he saw a bird or a squirrel somewhere. He scares all the birds away in our yard. -_-'

Taken with a Kodak camera. No flash.

The moment I saw this, I had a smile on my face. Dachshunds are such sweet, loyal dogs. I have an 8 year old mini black and tan dachshund. faves

Yes, I whole heartily agree with you there. My first dog I ever got was a black-and-tan female. I got her as a Christmas present when I was seven years old. She died last year in March. ;_;

But this one is as special as her. I bought him for $200. He was the only brindle in the kennel. Besides his color, he's unique in another way. His dad was a black piebald shorthair; his mother was a red longhair. So he has more hair than a regular shorthair.

But yeah. Thanks for commenting! I'm glad it made you happy! ^_^
